Arista Corporation Announces Video Projection Mapping Turnkey System | Sound & Video Contractor
This is kinda neat… I don’t see any mention of what software it runs, probably a buyer’s choice situation… It’s nice to see everything in a neat package.
“Fremont, CA – February 2019… Arista Corporation, recognized globally as a leading manufacturer of video wall LCD displays, AV extenders, matrix switchers, AV MultiViewers, and related products for the AV installation and industrial markets, announces its Video Projection Mapping Turnkey System. Designed as a compact, all-in-one solution for projection mapping applications, the new Video Projection Mapping Turnkey System consists of two major sections: (1) a powerful video processing computer and, (2) a fully integrated transmitter / receiver cluster capable of accommodating up to sixteen HDBaseT transmitters. The entire system is pre-configured, resulting in a streamlined system that merely requires connecting and disconnecting etherCON cables to and from the projectors before and after the event.
The system integrates a 4U rack mount computer named QuadMosaic. Powered by an Intel Xeon 10-core processor, it can be upgraded to a 22-core processor if more CPU horsepower is required. The system is populated with 128 GB DDR4-2400 system memory and can be upgraded to 512GB. Five swappable 2TB SATA HDDs are installed and configured in a RAID-5 configuration with one hot spare SATA HDD. This RAID configuration provides a total of 6TB storage capacity and maximum data protection to prevent any data loss due to HDD failure. High throughput NVMe storage for enhanced performance is optionally available. Two NVMe drives are installed in RAID-1 for boot drive redundancy with four NVMe drives configured in RAID-5 for working space storage. Using NVMe drives for boot drive and working space storage increases speed during video rendering.”
